The museum’s collection includes many objects, photos and documents about the Second World War (daily life, resistance, collaboration, deportation, Holocaust etc.) and beyond (between-war, post-war).
The museum’s specialized library (Luxembourg 1940-45, resistance, war, Holocaust, human rights – mainly in French and German) is available to students and researchers. It is only possible to consult books, magazines or articles on site, from Monday to Friday. It is necessary to make an appointment with the manager (Danielle Him). The library catalog is available on bibnet.
To carry out research projects (job application, dissertation, thesis, exhibition, etc.) in collaboration with the museum, the latter makes available both the library and the collection.
A good example of this approach can be viewed by following this link: storyobjects, a project of the University of Luxembourg.
